  3. ACana is a small signal analysis program for IBM pcs/clones etc.
  4. It determines the ac responce of a circuit
  5. described by nodal connections.
  6.  
  7. Uses the Gauss-Jordan algorithm to solve an addmittance matrix,
  8. This is generally considered slower than the usual LU method
  9. but is much more accurate especially at higher frequencys.
  10.  
  11. Active devices are kept on text files so you can put your
  12. favorite components directly on without difficulty.

  21. Operational Amplifiers
  22. Transformers - Ideal

  26. Voltage Controlled Current Sources
  27. Voltage Controlled Voltage Sources

  29. The information the program can give is :
  30. Input Impedance - magnitude , phase and complex notation.
  31. Output Impedance - magnitude , phase and complex notation.
  32. Voltage Gain - magnitude, phase and dB.
  33. Node Voltages - with reference to any other node.
